Welcome to registration for CVM's Summer Kid's Programs. Time Travelers programs are offered for 1st - 5th graders at $8 per session + $5 material fee. Students living within Eau Claire Area School District (ECASD) boundaries should register for ECASD Only sessions to take advantage of special pricing arrangements, Chippewa Valley Museum members can participate in General Sessions for the cost of materials, Please contact our Museum Educator, Karen Jacobson, with any questions regarding children's programs at k.jacobson@cvmuseum.com | Contact Us | (715) 598-2660

- Here's What's Available This Summer for ECASD & General Sessions -

ECASD Only U.S. at 250 [ECASD Students Only, June 23 or 24 from 2-3:30pm]
• Tour our newest exhibit to explore the United States turning 250 years old
• Reflect upon our nation’s birth while learning to write with a real quill pen
• March or hum along to the tunes of fife and drum
• Design your own Tricorn hat souvenir

$5 Material Fee per registrant

General U.S. at 250 [General Audiences, June 24 from 10:30am-Noon]
• Tour our newest exhibit to explore the United States turning 250 years old
• Reflect upon our nation’s birth while learning to write with a real quill pen
• March or hum along to the tunes of fife and drum
• Design your own Tricorn hat souvenir

ECASD Only History Heroes [ECASD Students Only, July 7 or 8 from 2-3:30pm]
• Discover how museums work to save history
• Help protect Eddy the Teddy from a dangerous attack of the mold
• Go on a Treasure Hunters quest to uncover hidden relics
• Try our Memory Keepers smell machine and test out toys from yesteryear

$5 Material Fee per registrant

General History Heroes [General Audiences, July 8 from 10:30am-Noon]
• Discover how museums work to save history
• Help protect Eddy the Teddy from a dangerous attack of the mold
• Go on a Treasure Hunters quest to uncover hidden relics
• Try our Memory Keepers smell machine and test out toys from yesteryear

$8 + $5 Material Fee per registrant

ECASD Lumberjack Legends & Lore [ECASD Students Only, July 14 or 15 from 2-3:30pm]
Note: This class meets inside the CVM Logging Center at 1110 East Half Moon Drive. Please use the entrance closest to the giant statues of Paul Bunyan & Babe the Blue Ox
• Visit an 1890s replica logging camp
• Sketch or scratch some lumberjack art|
• Play games and win medals in the Tall Tales Olympics
• Get your photo taken with Paul Bunyan & Pancake Man

$5 Material Fee per registrant

• Exercise your green thumb during a themed garden stroll
• Make a cup of tea the Victorian way
• Enjoy a taste of Queen’s biscuits or scones with jam
• Practice the secret language of fans

$5 Material Fee per registrant

General Victorian Picnic [General Audiences, July 22 from 10:30am-Noon]
